Before your cruise ship leaves port, put your phone in airplane mode—and leave it there for the entire cruise!

You can turn Wi-Fi back on to use the cruise line’s app or any internet package you purchased, but keeping airplane mode on helps prevent your phone from connecting to the ship’s cellular network and surprising you with roaming charges. 😬

A tiny step that can save you from a very unpleasant phone bill when you get home!

Three months ago, I took a chance and officially launched my travel business.

I set one goal for my first 90 days:

✈️ Book $10,000 in travel.

Today, I'm celebrating because we didn't just hit that goal—we almost doubled it!

☀️ One thing I'd do differently after our Orlando vacation...

I'd stop trying to squeeze everything into one trip.

We had an amazing vacation. Billy and Chelsea were incredible hosts, we saved SO much money staying at their house, and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

After our Universal and Disney days, I asked Travis and Bristol if they wanted to spend a couple of nights at the beach.

Hard pass from Bristol - she wanted to spend time with Uncle Billy, Aunt Chels, and the dogs. 🐶

So we decided to save the money, drive over to the beach on Friday and get a head start on the drive home.

BIG MISTAKE!!! Storms turned our beach day into a beach hour and turns out I needed that "sit in the sun and do nothing day" more than I realized. 😂

After several hot days at Universal and Disney, I was craving time to just slow down—sit by the pool, put my toes in the sand, and not feel like we needed to be anywhere.

I love the excitement of theme parks, but I also want to come home feeling refreshed instead of needing a vacation from my vacation.

Next time, I'd probably still stay with the fam for the park portion of the trip, but I'd definitely be at the beach for a few days before heading home.
