🎣TROUT FISHING IN GATLINBURG!🎣

There is some really good trout fishing to be had in Gatlinburg! Just not on Thursdays! This one was caught under the bridge at Edgewater!

Thursday’s are the day that you can’t fish in Gatlinburg as the city stocks the river!

You do need a trout stamp to fish in Gatlinburg and there are many places to buy one. Kids 12 and under can fish for free. A one day permit costs $11 as a stand alone with no other license needed for ages 13 and up.

You can purchase these on the TWRA On the Go app or at the Spur Welcome Center or at City Hall at 912 East Parkway!

The daily limit is five per day for general streams and two per day from Children’s streams. Through Nov 30th, there is no size limit and any bait can be used. Single hooks only, no treble, and only one rod per person. Who wants to do some fishing?!

Slick City Action Park has announced its official opening date — and it’s coming up fast!

🛝 Slick City Pigeon Forge opens Saturday, June 27 at 9 AM.

This will bring the Smokies their first indoor slide park, giving families another indoor option right on the Parkway — especially for hot summer days, rainy days, or when the kids still have energy to burn.
