Colorado rafting companies are planning for extended seasons thanks to abundant snowfall last winter.
June brought high water levels, but with the arrival of warm temperatures and the passage of peak runoff, river flows currently are described as moderate—and there is plenty of more to come.
The Colorado River Outfitters Association says the Colorado River could see rafting into October and that the Arkansas River could see rafting continue though September.
