Balloon Festival Director, Tiffany Carney, highlighted the festival plans for this year at the monthly tourism commission meeting, held at our beautiful new tourism office in Franklinton this morning. While there, she also accepted the tourism grant on behalf of the Festival Board. Thank you Washington Parish Tourism for all that you do to support and highlight the festival!

For those of you who haven’t heard, we are on a mission to upgrade the electrical infrastructure on the midway at the fairgrounds. This will lower our cost and help the environment by eliminating the use of generators for all events that take place on the midway. We are applying for grants and seeking funding in any way we can and we wanted to give the general public an opportunity to help.
