We’re seeing a LOT of RV tank valves lately that are:
👉 Hard to pull
👉 Getting stuck
👉 Or worse… breaking completely 😬

And most people don’t realize what’s happening until it’s too late…

If your valve is stuck OPEN, all the liquid drains out and leaves the solids behind…
👉 That’s how you end up with a pyramid plug (and trust us… it’s NOT fun 💩🚫)

If it’s stuck CLOSED, you can’t dump at all — and that can turn into an emergency FAST 🚨

• Valve getting harder to pull

⚠️ Trailer Owners — Quick Question

When was the last time you actually serviced your trailer wheel bearings?

Not just pumping grease into the zerk fitting…
I mean removing the hub, inspecting the brakes, cleaning and repacking the bearings, and installing new seals.

Most trailers should have their bearings serviced every 2 years.
If you tow a lot of miles — or if it's a boat trailer — it should be every year.

A proper service includes:
🔧 Removing the hub and brake drum
🔧 Inspecting brake components
🔧 Cleaning and inspecting inner & outer bearings
🔧 Hand packing fresh grease
🔧 Replacing axle seals
🔧 Reassembling and adjusting everything correctly

⚠️ Just pumping grease into the spindle zerk is NOT a bearing service.

Skipping this maintenance is one of the #1 reasons trailers end up on the side of the highway with a burned-up hub or missing wheel.

Trust me… you don’t want that happening on the way to your camping trip.

If your trailer hasn’t had a proper bearing service in a couple years, it may be time.

When things go wrong with your RV, it can be scary. If you're in our service area, please don't hesitate to call us ASAP, even at night, so we can try to fit you into our schedule for the next day.

Calling/texting and leaving a message at 11:00 pm, as opposed to calling at 7:00 am the following day, could potentially delay the repair of your RV by a few days. The sooner we're informed, the sooner we can have your RV fixed and ready to hit the road again.

We have even set our alarm clock ⏰ a few hours earlier to prioritize an emergency call before tackling our scheduled service appointments for the day.

We are beyond grateful for every single person who helped build, serve, pray, give, and support our mission trip to Freedom. From long days in the sun to hands in the dirt, every effort mattered. Watching this playground come together piece by piece was more than just construction — it was love in action.
