Hey it’s Small Business Saturday- I’m a small business! Just wanted to throw it out there that I’m available to host trivia and/or other games for your socially distant family get together this year! As I reflect on the past month of weddings, I have to say that I am very impressed with everyone in the event industry and their professionalism, and most importantly, commitment to safety. Next weekend is the last in a stretch of weddings that I have worked that I have not been making public here, because I’m not sure of how that would be received. We should still be conscious and the choices we make should definitely be considered carefully.

“The show must go on” has definitely been my mantra, and it is just so beautiful to witness the love of newlywed couples as well as their families coming together as safely as possible.

I’m unsure of the morality/legality of me encouraging people to come out and dance, but I’ve usually got some pretty great jams lined up with my lights going, so it’s up to everyone to make that choice individually.

I can’t wait until “mask off” by Future is the leading song on my playlist, but until then, don’t be ashamed of masking up for the entirety of a wedding reception if you’ve got one coming up the end of this wedding season.
