Travel Tip for the day: If you are staying at a resort and the airline notifies you that your flight is delayed to go home, don't reschedule your airport transportation to pick you up later; keep the same pick-up time.

Here is why: Airlines CAN and WILL go back to the original departure time, so you need to still plan to be at the airport when you were initially scheduled. Also, if you have a scheduled ride, it's not likely that your transportation company can move your pick-up time on such short notice. So don't even ask if it's not at least 24 hours prior. 🙂

This is the email the airline sent me for my clients:

“Original departure time: 6:30 PM
New departure time: 8:15 PM

We're working hard to get things back on track, so we ask that you still arrive at the airport for your original departure time.”

Guess what happened? Yes, actual departure time ended up being changed back to 6:30pm. ✈️

Having significantly smaller vessels than other cruise lines, Azamara’s fleet allows access to explore smaller ports. My Croatia-intensive voyage embarks in Venice and coasts along the Adriatic Sea all the way down to Montenegro.
