This was going to be a story.
I was going to post a story wishing a happy birthday to my friend Amit. We met 8 years ago (that’s crazy to think about) through the program at - since then this man has become a really good friend. We’ve worked in various nonprofits together, I’ve made him custom suits and shirts, he is actually the one that first got me involved with , and we’ve shared countless coffees and dinners talking about sports, politics, volunteering, business, and life in general. He’s one of the men I most admire, the type of guy that for a birthday present probably wants you to just go vote, or support a nonprofit (like ), or watch PBS. But that’s exactly the reason he deserves a post and not a story.

It’s no secret that I love menswear. I get excited about every piece I make. But nothing compares to being a part of someone’s special day. Especially when it’s one of my closest friends of over 20 years, as he marries the woman of his dreams.
