Happy National Son and Daughter Day to my two favorite people in the entire world. ❤️

You two are, without a doubt, the best thing I have ever done.

Every late night. Every early morning. Every long day. Every load of laundry. Every meal I make, mess I clean up, and every bit of hard work I pour into our life… it’s all for you.

And I know there will come a day—probably much sooner than I’m ready for—when my house is quiet.

The floors will be clean.
The laundry will actually be DONE.

There won’t be toys everywhere or someone yelling “MOM!” from the other room for the 47th time that day. 😂

And I know I’ll miss it.

I’ll think about these long, hot days at Magic Kingdom and smile.

I’ll remember the excitement on your faces when you saw something for the first time.

I’ll remember the belly laughs coming from the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and wish I could bottle up that exact sound and keep it forever. 🥹❤️

Because these are the days.

The messy days. The loud days. The exhausting days. The magical days.

The days I’m going to look back on and realize were some of the very best days of my life.

So for now, I’ll happily step over the toys, fold the endless laundry, wipe the fingerprints off everything, and soak up every minute I possibly can.

Because one day, I’ll have clean floors.

And I’ll give anything to have them covered in your mess again.

There is just something about a Disney Cruise. ❤️

The excitement when your kids see the ship for the first time.
