Day 6: Disembarkation Day & Review
We enjoyed Brunch at Razzle dazzle again before departing.
What did I think of my first Virgin Cruise?

Highlights: Ship was very clean, beautiful open gathering spaces throughout the ship, food was amazing, room was clean & modern.

Vibe: Equal parts relaxation & party. NO KIDS!!

My favorite feature- All of the great lounge spots throughout the ship!

Day 5: Bimini Port day (Bimini Beach Club- Virgin’s private island in The Bahamas) 🏖️
Took a tram from the ship straight to the Beach Club for a PERFECT beach day! Food and drinks all included here- soft drinks, water & Caribbean fare. Food was really good!
Retuned late afternoon to clean up for the evening.
Squid Ink- we got matching travel tattoos from Paolo, who was from Italy.

🍽️ Dinner: Pink Agave- Mexican food. Again, the food was delicious, though I did not care for the desserts this time.

🎬 Show: Persephone- the show was at a 2-story venue and we chose to view it from around the stage. A modern take on The Greek Mythology story with the same great dancers/actors/singer from the previous show.

Day 4: Sea day
Another relaxing day! Slept in & had brunch at Razzle Dazzle (fantastic!! Highly recommended)
Another day testing out reading spots/ testing the pools/ just relaxing.
Dinner at The Wake (steak house) was excellent!
Checked out the casino & more photo spots, then turned in for a movie in the room…early wake up time for port day tomorrow.

Day 3: Cayman Islands Port Day
We booked an excursion that took us to see the Sting Rays, snorkeling, starfish, & to the beach. (We also saw a sea turtle!!) It was a fantastic day! 🌊

🍽️ We returned to the ship to clean up for dinner at Gunbae- Korean BBQ where they cook at your table. This venue was the most fun! You sit at a community table & the waiter plays an interactive counting/ clapping game with the table…you take a shot if you mess up & then are out(cranberry juice for non-drinkers).

Scarlet night- Virgin’s party night with everyone dressing in red. There was a deck party, as well as several other club options…we had to check them all out. Late bed time…ship day tomorrow!

Virgin Cruise-Miami to Grand Cayman & Bimini
Day 2: Sea Day
We grabbed coffee at one of multiple coffee shops on the ship & headed to the pool!
What I LOVE: the variety of lounge spots Virgin has around the pools & decks! Plenty of options for sun, shade, music, or quiet.
Had a perfect day reading in the sun, reading in the shade…and cooling off in the pool. People on the ship were very friendly & we had nothing but positive interactions the entire trip!
We went to the Aft of the ship for some quiet, some shade & Tapas at Opa Hour. We enjoyed the large lounge beds found all over the ship.
Dinner at Extra Virgin (Italian). I had Cesar salad, Ricotta Gnudi, & Red Snapper. All very good!
Showtime: we watched the cabaret show, Lola’s Library- dancers are impressive, as was the lead vocalist! I will post videos separately, as FB won’t allow me to mix pics and videos in 1 post on the business side.

Virgin Cruise to Grand Cayman & Bimini from Miami
DAY 1: Embarkation
We flew from DFW to Miami, explored the room & ship, grabbed a quick snack for lunch, checked out some lounge spots on the ship, watched the sunset over the ocean & had dinner at Razzle Dazzle (I chose the Ribeye and it was delicious!)

I am exploring Virgin Cruise lines this week….visiting Grand Cayman & Bimini (Virgin Cruise line’s private island). 🛳️

All of Virgin Cruise Lines ships are kid-free! Perfect for teachers and parents who need a vacation.

The ship is beautiful…fantastic contemporary spaces with tons of places to relax…think hammocks, giant lounge beds on the decks, swanky inside lounges, and social spaces for playing board games & interactive meeting spots.

The vibe: SOCIAL! FUN…and Relaxing. You definitely have your share of party zones, as well as quiet zones on the ship. There is something for everyone.

Who is cruising?: Everyone EXCEPT kids!
Multigenerational Family groups, diverse population, teacher’s retirement groups, class reunion groups, all ages from 18-90, SINGLES, and couples of all types.
