DID YOU KNOW!?

If you are of Indian origin, by birth or decent, or a former citizen of India, if you own or inherit any properties or monies. You MUST be a valid OCI card holder in order to collect.

OCI stands for Overseas Citizen of India. It is a life long visa issued to ONLY those of Indian origin and their spouses. This is the closest form of dual citizen India offers.

DID YOU KNOW!?

In most cases, when applying for a passport for a minor under the age of 16, BOTH parents & the minor must be present when submitting the application to you local government official. In the instance that one parent cannot be present, the proper consent form must be notarized and submitted with the application, along with a copy of the ID used in the presence of the notary.

For example, applicants applying for Canadian passports or Canadian residency must follow strict photo requirements regarding photo size and facial proportion. One of those requirements being, NO SMILES!

DID YOU KNOW!?

Most passports are issued for a period of 10 years (5 years for minors under 16) but most countries still require you to have 6 months validity from your return date in order to travel. So technically your passport is only valid for 9 & 1/2 years!
