‼️Disney Cruise Line Breaking News 🗞️

🎉The Disney Imagination is the official name of Japan's first Disney Cruise Line ship, announced by Oriental Land Co., Ltd. and Disney.

• Class & Build: A Wish-class ship (hull number 722) being built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.
• Size & Capacity: Approximately 140,000 gross tons, featuring around 1,250 staterooms to accommodate roughly 4,000 guests and a 1,500-person crew.
• Itineraries & Home Port: Will sail short 2-to-3-night cruises out of the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal designed to pair easily with a Tokyo Disney Resort vacation. It is the first Disney ship to feature Tokyo on the stern instead of Nassau.
• Stern Statues: Will feature character statues of Ariel and Sebastian on the stern.
• Timeline: Construction began in October 2026, with service expected to launch in fiscal year 2028 / spring 2029.
