A little room tour from our stay at Disney’s Grand Californian.

I really loved our room. We booked a Standard View, but ended up with a great view of California Adventure.

I did call in a room request for a higher floor and to be near the rest of our traveling party, and it worked out perfectly.

Are MagicBands worth it? 🤔

Short answer: they can be.

Park entry. Lightning Lane scans. Payment. Room key.

One little band can do a lot.

Do you need one? No.

Is it worth it for some Disney trips? Absolutely.

And that’s the thing about Disney. There are so many extras, and not all of them are worth your money.

Hear me out before you tell me you’re not a cruise person…

Here are real things clients tell me they want an all inclusive:

✔️ Somewhere safe
✔️ Easy to get to
✔️ Food
✔️ Pools
✔️ Activities for the whole family
✔️ Drinks
✔️ And ideally, not pulling out their wallet every 20 minutes 😂

What if I told you the right cruise would give you all those things.

You unpack once, your hotel comes with you, there are activities for everyone, and so much is included in your cruise fare.

Now, I know a big ole boat in the middle of the ocean isn’t everyone’s cup of tea 😂

But sometimes you don’t actually want an all inclusive.

You just want a vacation that feels easy with the cost taken care of up front.

Seriously, there are WAY too many things to handle when planning a wedding.

So when it comes to your honeymoon, you have two options:

Option 1: Let your husband handle it.

Which honestly… might not be the worst idea.

But there is a very real possibility you end up at a football stadium, eating hot dogs and a bag of chips, while he proudly says, “I planned everything!”

Option 2: Send me a message.

You tell me your dates, your budget, and what kind of honeymoon you want.

I’ll handle the rest.

Because after planning an entire wedding, you deserve to have at least ONE thing taken off your plate

I spend a LOT of time at Disney World, so I went into Disneyland thinking I had a pretty good idea of what to expect.

I was wrong. 😂

Three things genuinely surprised me:

1️⃣ Club Level felt 100% worth it.
At Disney World, I don’t always think Club Level is necessary depending on the trip. At Disneyland? After experiencing it, it’s a must do at Disneyland.

2️⃣ Lightning Lane felt simpler.
I found the process easier to navigate, and availability felt much more manageable than what I’m used to at Disney World.

3️⃣ The entire trip felt slower paced.
This one might have surprised me the most. Disneyland just didn’t feel as chaotic. We could move between the parks easily, spend time enjoying ourselves, and not feel like every minute needed to be strategically planned.

These are my takeaways after experiencing Disneyland firsthand. Disney World and Disneyland are VERY different vacations, and I actually think that’s part of what makes comparing them so interesting.

We had such a fun time in California!

We packed a lot into this trip with Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Knott’s Berry Farm. Every stop was a little different, and we had a blast at all of them.

We also really loved staying at Disney’s Grand Californian. You just can’t beat being that close to the parks and having Disney magic right outside your door.

And Universal… I’m officially never waiting in that Fast & Furious line again. 😂 That’s a story for another day.

I have SO many detailed thoughts about Disneyland as a whole, from the layout and rides to the Cast Members and, of course, the magic. But today, I’ll spare you the full review and let you enjoy some fun pictures from the trip.
