📣 WE’RE HIRING!

The Meigs-Decatur Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time Meigs County Tourism Coordinator to help lead and manage tourism initiatives throughout our county.

This position is approximately 15–20 hours per week and is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, community-minded, and passionate about promoting all that Meigs County has to offer.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the tourism website and social media platforms
• Creating engaging written and short-form video content
• Expanding and implementing our tourism strategy and brand
• Developing marketing and promotional materials
• Coordinating tourism-related events
• Building relationships with community and tourism partners
• Assisting with grant documentation and reporting

This is a hybrid position, but applicants must be available for daytime meetings and occasional weekends, holidays, conferences, and special events.

🎯 Our goal this year is 200 runners—help us get there by registering today or making a donation!

Whether you're a competitive runner or just want to enjoy a scenic walk along beautiful Watts Bar Lake, this event is for everyone! The race will be professionally timed by the Knoxville Track Club for those chasing a personal best, but you're welcome to participate at your own pace.

🏅 Awards will be presented to:
• Overall Male & Female Winners
• Male & Female winners in 9 age divisions

Race T-Shirts available for ALL registered participants, the first 100 receive a fun swag bag, and sweets treats will be waiting for you at the finish line!
