DBR club members. Mystery Ride is this coming Sunday, August 23rd. Bus leaves Quinn's at 2 PM. $ 10 per person to ride the bus. Several stops along the way & supper at a mystery location. Hope to see you there.

Happy Monday to all. Just a reminder to club members of the upcoming Mystery Ride on August 23rd. Meet at Quinn's at 2 PM. Cost of $ 10 per person to ride the bus. Bring your bag of quarters for the Stop Sign game. The bus will stop along the way at a couple of establishments for refreshments and the final stop will be for dinner. Members will be responsible for their own expenses for their meal and refreshments. Hope to see you there.

This year we had the annual ShishKaBob party on July 19th at Honzik's Rustic Acres LLC just north of Neva. We had a good turn out and the food was excellent. Larry kept good notes over the years so we had the marinade recipe for the beef and it turned out perfect. Many thanks to all who attended and brought dishes to pass. Thanks to Pete, John, Jen, Dave, Don, Rachel, and Irma for getting our entry ready for the 4th of July parade in Antigo. Additional thanks to Jen, Dave, Don, and Rachel for passing out treats along the way, John, June, & Mike for keeping the treat buckets full, and to Pete & Irma for piloting "Big Blue" to keep us motoring along. I hope everyone had a good time.

Congratulations to the Elcho Historical Society and our friends in the Elcho area on the grand opening of your Grange Hall museum. It looks great and we commend you on wanting to preserve the history of your community in such a wonderful and warm environment as you have done. We wish you much luck and success.

Happy Thursday to all of our friends & followers. Last evening was the Scholarship ceremony at Antigo High School. For many years now our club has awarded a scholarship to a deserving graduating senior and this year was no exception. We are pleased to announce that Anna Heuss is the recipient of the Deerbrook Bridge Runners Scholarship. Congratulations Anna and we wish you luck and success as you move on to the next step of your educational journey.

Thanks to our friends in the Antigo Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club we have a photo of Bev Sikora to share of the painting she won in the basket raffle at the LCSC End of Season banquet earlier today. It was painted by one of our members, Mike VanSchyndel. Very cool.
