Happy Thursday to all of our friends & followers. Last evening was the Scholarship ceremony at Antigo High School. For many years now our club has awarded a scholarship to a deserving graduating senior and this year was no exception. We are pleased to announce that Anna Heuss is the recipient of the Deerbrook Bridge Runners Scholarship. Congratulations Anna and we wish you luck and success as you move on to the next step of your educational journey.

Thanks to our friends in the Antigo Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club we have a photo of Bev Sikora to share of the painting she won in the basket raffle at the LCSC End of Season banquet earlier today. It was painted by one of our members, Mike VanSchyndel. Very cool.

Happy Sunday everyone. The annual LCSC End of Season banquet was held today at the Jack LaMar Pavilion in Elcho. Many thanks to the folks there for putting on an excellent meal. We had around 20 club members in attendance which was great to see. The club donated a couple of raffle items to help support our county organization. Our raffle basket was won by Carol & Larry Gaudett and the oil painting was won by our own Bev Sikora. Unfortunately we did not get a photo of Bev & the painting but we did get one of Carol and Larry with their basket. Congratulations to all of the raffle prize winners.

Good evening DBR club members. Hope you're all OK after this crazy weather over the last day or so. Please limit your travel, or stay off the roads all together, so the professionals (plow drivers & emergency equipment) can do what they need to make the roads safe again.

Nice to see another local snowmobile club put on an event for the public. Already looking forward to October. Hope to see a good turnout.

Hey fellow sled heads & friends, looks like a couple of pretty severe snow storms are headed for Northeast Wisconsin & Langlade County. Predictions are ranging from 5" of the white stuff to possibly up to 20". Snow along with some gusting winds are going to make travel difficult starting later tonight(Thursday) through the weekend. Please be safe out there if you choose to travel.

The season may be over but we look back to a fun time just a few short weeks ago. Already looking forward to the 2027 Classic Cruise, Always the First Saturday in February. Everyone have a great spring & summer.

Club members & fellow snowmobilers, it looks as if the 2025-2026 snowmobiling season has come to an end in Langlade County. Our trails are closing at 6 AM on Tuesday, March 3rd. Many thanks to all those who spent time in our area enjoying the superior work done by our local trail groomers. Our clubs recognize and appreciate the hard work the trail groomers put in to make Langlade County a snowmobiling destination. Please continue to visit our area in the off season and support our local businesses. We hope that all of the trails continue to lead to Langlade County, The County of Trails.

Good news snowmobilers. Zone B of the trail system in Langlade County will reopen on Wednesday, February 25th at 6 AM with some minor restrictions. Please review the news release below to get the complete story. Many thanks to the trail groomers for, once again, doing an excellent job to make our trails safe & rideable. Your hard work and dedication to the sport of snowmobiling is greatly appreciated.

Happy Thursday to all our friends and followers. I'm fairly certain you all have seen the posting from Langlade County regarding the temporary closing of the snowmobile trails effective Sunday, February 15th at 6 AM. The warmer weather we have been experiencing can cause a quick deterioration of the good base out there so this closing is necessary to preserve that. Hopefully the trails will reopen in the near future. In the meantime please take time to patronize the local businesses who appreciate the support that snowmobiliers provide them.
