Ho, Ho, How can it be almost Christmas again this year? Well, we're busy planning the 2017 Childrens Holiday Party! Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to participate in the event. We'll post volunteer needs, donation opportunities such as virtually adopting a child (or family) whose holidays wishes you can help come true, and fun facts about our event's history.

Although you haven't heard from us in awhile, we're beginning to plan the 2017 Children's Holiday Party! In fact, last week KOCT - North County's Channel and the nation's leading etiquette expert, Elaine Swann provided an opportunity for me to share what our event is all about and the importance of the LLS mission. Completing our holiday party walk through. Thank you to the Hilton Del Mar & mascot for hosting our event! A horse is a horse of course - except during the Holidays when he may start looking like Rudolph. 🎁🎅🏻

Thanks to the many generous friends, our toy drive is off to a fantastic start! It's late October & we have received over $1,000 in gift cards and donations plus many wonderful Barbies, trucks, a basketball hoop, educational games & stuffed animals. The invisible & miraculous hand of God provides for this event every single year! ❤️

The Children's Holiday Party invites are being printed and mailed this week!!! With that said, we will be receiving RSVP's in no time! We are looking for individuals and/or families to adopt a child. Please contact Stephanie Poppert if you would like to adopt a child.

We're hosting a CHP Fundraiser on 11/30 during the Chargers game at Sportsplex USA in Santee. Champagne bottles for $20. All proceeds benefit our annual event. Hope to see you there!
