On a Saturday many moons ago I was born and now that I have lived nearly half of my life I am so very grateful for the journey, adventures, tragedies, the happiness, anxiety, the camaraderie and everything that this journey of life has brought to me.
I can never say that I haven't lived an adventurous life or that I won't continue to live the life that I feel I deserve. I have taken a lot of time on self-discovery to understand who I am. I am a domestic violence survivor, and I didn't love myself in the past as much as I do now. I am happy.
I no longer worry about the things that others have to say, I guess that comes with time and through experiences but on this day I promise myself to continue to be the most authentic person that I could ever be. I want to be someone that another aspires to be. I want to be the inspiration that gets you through a hard day. I want to live this life passionately full of love, full of life, and full of light. Enough light that it shines brightly on anyone that comes across my path.
So happy birthday, Angie, and thank you to my younger self for allowing me to learn the lessons needed to grow and express gratitude 🙏🏽
