Why is fall a good time to visit Walt Disney World? 🤔

Several reasons, actually!

👥️ Crowd Levels - Generally speaking, we find Disney less crowded during the fall months. Kids are back in school, and we're past summer vacation season, so it's a little easier to navigate the parks and to find lower wait times for attractions!

🌞 The Weather - Once we get past summer, the weather starts to cool down, and the heat doesn't feel as blistering. Especially the later into fall you go, the weather actually starts to feel pleasant!

🎉 The Festivities - On select nights during the fall, you can experience Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, one of the best events Disney World puts on! The Magic Kingdom gets dressed up for spooky season and guests can experience exclusive shows and character meet-and-greets, special treats only available during the party, fun new merchandise, reduced wait times for attractions, and lower capacity in the park. JUST BOOKED! 🥳🎉🎊

The M Family will be having fun "under the sea" when they stay in a Little Mermaid themed room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! This resort is full of Disney theming and charm, with larger-than-life icons of various Disney characters all over the property. When they aren't enjoying the parks, the M Family can chill, relax, and have fun in the largest pool on property themed to Finding Nemo! May the Fourth be with you! Today is and I wanted to highlight one of my favorite attractions at Walt Disney World, Rise of the Resistance.

This is truly one of the most immersive experiences you can have while at Disney. From the second it starts, you are firmly placed into the Star Wars universe. The attraction mixes several ride systems together, features live actors that interact with guests, and Disney's Imagineers spared no expense crafting every detail present. This attraction more so than any other at Disney does an unbelievable job at transporting you into a different time a place. You truly feel like you're in the midst of a Star Wars battle while on the attraction.

Even though I've ridden it several times at this point, it never ceases to amaze me. Riding this attraction takes me back to when I was a kid watching the original trilogy for the first time, playing old video games imagining what it would be like to be in that world. Well, I don't have to imagine anymore. Disney brought imagination to life, fantasy into reality, and you're more than welcome to experience it for yourself.

Why plan early for a 2026 Walt Disney World vacation 🤔

You may think you have plenty of time to book and create a plan for your visit to Disney World, but honestly? Walt Disney World is one of those places where it's never too early to begin planning! Here's just a few reasons why that I want to highlight 👇

🛌 ROOM/RESORT AVAILABILITY: We're already starting to see some resorts during certain times of the year book up fast. Booking early secures your spot at a Disney resort, and helps ensure you're staying at a resort you wish to stay at with a price point you're comfortable with.

💰 PAYMENT PLANS: This is a big one for many families. Booking early gives you as much time as possible to pay off your trip once you've put your deposit down. Once you know your remaining balance, you can work out a payment plan to pay off your trip as you go. The earlier you book your trip, the more time you have to pay off the balance!

🧐 MORE TIME TO PLAN: The further out you book, the more time we have to help you plan out a fantastic and memorable vacation suited to your family's wants and expectations. Booking in advance allows us to follow a timeline to ensure we're hitting certain milestones (such as booking dining reservations, magical extras, Lightning Lane discussions, etc.) at the appropriate time, and gives me plenty of opportunity to understand just what you're looking for in this vacation, helping me craft a more magical experience for you!

🤑 ACCESS TO PROMOTIONS: Disney will oftentimes release promotions and special offers during the year. Even after you've already booked, if these promotions would help you save money, let you add a dining plan for free, or can give you the opportunity to upgrade to a new resort at a lower cost, I can apply those promotions to your trip! You never know when Disney will announce these, so securing your room now can allow you the chance to take advantage of promotional benefits down the road!

😄 FLEXIBILITY: Plans change, and Disney understands that. If something happens after you book and you need to alter your plans, no worries! You can easily add or remove guests from your reservation, you can change the number of days, you can add extras like the dining plan, and you can even change resorts if you need to! Booking early allows for room in case something changes and you need to pivot.
