Planning a Celebrity cruise? Here is a quick update to keep on your radar.

Celebrity Cruises announced new recommended gratuity rates this morning, July 29, 2026. The updated daily amounts are:

• Standard staterooms: $19.50 per person
• Concierge Class and AquaClass: $20.50 per person
• The Retreat suites: $24.50 per person

Guests who do not prepay gratuities before sailing will see them added automatically to their onboard account.

I am reaching out directly to my clients whose sailings are affected, but I also wanted to share the update here for anyone with an upcoming Celebrity vacation. Knowing the amount in advance makes it a little easier to budget and avoids an unexpected charge once you are onboard.
