Whether it’s simply sitting around a warm campfire or surfing in the crisp waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the time we spend connecting with the outdoors is unique and special. It presents us with an opportunity to be present and at peace and creates lasting memories.
The founders of Outdoorful were introduced to the wonders of the great outdoors at a young age. Winter months were spent snowboarding and playing pond hockey, and summer meant it was time for fishing lakes in Northern Ontario or racing down sand dunes in Cape Cod.
That early connection they share to the outdoors played a big part in who they are today.
After spending a considerable amount of time evaluating the current state of the outdoor industry, brothers Jeff Servos and Jordan Servos discovered a range of obstacles preventing tens of millions of willing participants from engaging in the outdoors every year.
