Baby Gunnarโ€™s first time trying pepparkakor - gingerbread ๐Ÿซš ๐Ÿช Big fan. We love they use only fresh, natural ingredients and traditional methods are used to make their artisanal sourdough and Swedish pastries. They have locations around Stockholm and even can be found in London and New York too now!

Protein Energy Snack with Dried Fruits and Nuts

1/2 cup chopped almonds 400 calories
1/2 cup dates extracted and chopped 250 calories
1/4 cup chopped dried apricots 70 calories
1/4 cup oats 75 calories
2 tablespoons honey 120 calories

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and shape them into small balls, then place the balls in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.

Approximately 90 calories per serving

Energy Balls

Prepare these tasty little balls, full of useful nutrients, rich in minerals, vitamins and proteins.

First recipe.
Peeled almond cups
cup of dates soaked in hot water
3 tablespoons of peanut butter
tablespoon of raw cacao
We mix all the ingredients in the blender and form balls.

Second recipe.
Cup of walnuts
Half a cup of sesame seeds
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
Dry tin glass soaked in refreshing hot water
Half a cup of oats

Third recipe.
Cup of mixed between raisins, plums (bull's eye) and dried apricots
One cup of mixed nuts
Two tablespoons of hot cocoa.
Mix together and form balls

Fourth recipe.
Coconut cups
White ground almond cups
Crushed white granola cups
Banana Beans
Grind together to form balls.

All the recipes are very tasty and you can dip them in dark chocolate, cover them with nuts, sesame seeds or any seeds to your taste!

1. Know your basal metabolic rate (BMR): This is the number of calories your body needs each day to maintain basic functions (such as breathing and digestion) and is calculated based on age, gender, height and weight.
- Equation for men.
BMR = (88.362 + (13.397 ร— weight in kilograms) + (4.799 ร— length in centimeters) - (5.677 ร— up to age))
2. Calculating price by daily activity: After calculating the basal metabolic rate, we add up your daily activity. Use one of the following numbers based on your activity level.
- Small activities (e.g., desk work): BMR ร— 1.2
- Light activity (e.g., light exercise): BMR x 1.375
- Average activity (e.g., regular exercise): BMR ร— 1.55
- High activity (e.g., vigorous exercise): BMR ร— 1.725
- Extreme activity (e.g., hard physical labor): BMR ร— 1.9
3. Calorie goals.
- Maintain weight: Eat fully counted calories.
- Lose weight: Products lacking about 500 calories.
- Weight gain: Increase about 500 calories.
