This 11-1/2” decoy has a relief carved northern on one side and Wood burned northern on the other side. To top it off there is a woodburned perch on top. It is a mix of cherry and golden mahogany stain on a white cedar Decoy and is an excellent swimmer. If this makes it to the Show at Perham, The asking price will be $200 minimum however if someone’s interested in it now you can have it for 175 and I’ll pay the shipping. I won’t have any others with the northern on it. Don’t miss out if you like this style of decoy with some artwork flavor. Thanks

Good stuff right here!

Recently completed, this decoy and the plaque are made from a cottonwood tree. The wood is beautiful as you can see. The decoy is around 6-3/4" long and the plaque is about 13" or a little more. It has a brass chain attached to the back so that it is ready to hang on your wall if you desire.

I have made about 40-50 or so floaters in the last years and continue to make them on occasion. This is my rendition of a folk art Tiger Muskie which has wood burned scales and is about 10" long. You can see by the illustration that I did a few years ago as to how the floater fish decoy can be used....
