The Clear Heart Experience

Ok so it's set! Saturday May 14th at 11am we, The Clear Heart Experience will be taking lunch to the 100 residents at COTS! You can still donate. The menu is Spaghetti, Wing Dings, Salad, Rolls, and Cupcakes! We have a pan of Turkey Spaghetti and Beef Spaghetti that has been donated by Jai Shaw and ChefDon Brown. We have 50 cupcakes that have been donated by Trina May. We have a pan of chicken that will be purchased with the donation given by Latisha Cato! We are still in need of 2 salads or one really huge one and dressing, rolls, 50 more cupcakes and more chicken. One or two more actual volunteers for that day to serve would be great as well. Please let me know how you'd like to help!

I got discouraged about The Clear Heart Experience this year, but some people count on my charity as what they’ll give to each year. THAT inspires me! If you’d still like to or plan on giving this year please message me for the items needed! I greatly appreciate you all for not allowing me to give up!

Due to privacy matters we were not able to take pictures of the women at House 3, but they greatly appreciated having us there and doing the activities that we brought with us! We decorated cupcakes first and then we decorated ornaments! They children hit a Piñata and got to pick out toys and then we passed out the bags that we put together for them. Each bag contained a hat, gloves, scarf, sanitary napkins, bandaids, and hand sanitizer. They were very grateful and the pleasure was all ours! Here are a few pictures of their crafts! We also went to Neighborhood Service Organization - NSO & gave to all of their recipients and for our last stop we dropped off bags to COTS (Coalition On Temporary Shelter) for their women and children!
