📌 THE ROLE
Responsible for developing new business, growing existing customer relationships and achieving sales targets while promoting Laparkan's Ocean, Air, Express Shipping and Money Transfer services to commercial and personal effects customers.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
• Maintain and grow customer relationships
• Promote Laparkan's shipping, logistics and Money Transfer services
• Conduct customer visits, sales calls and follow ups
• Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline
• Work toward established sales targets
• Use social media and digital platforms to generate leads
• Provide regular sales activity and performance reports
🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Associate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred
• 2–5 years of sales/business-development experience, preferably in shipping, logistics or freight forwarding
• Proven ability to generate new business and achieve sales targets
• Customer relationship management and direct/outside sales experience is an asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with social media and digital platforms
🌟 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Strong sales, negotiation and business development skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities and confidence in building customer relationships. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, organized and results oriented, with strong follow-up and time management skills.
