Dover Holiday Parade

The Dover Holiday Parade, presented by The Cochecho Friends, is a community tradition that brings residents, businesses, and organizations together each year.

The Dover Holiday Parade Committee gathered at OTTO to map out upcoming events.

This year’s theme, “Yule Be Sorry: Holiday Mishaps and Bad Decisions Tinged with Regret,” promises plenty of laughs, creativity, and festive fun!

We’ve got some important dates coming up:

* November 5: Volunteer Meeting at
Cinco's Cantina
* November 10: Otto Pizza Fundraiser. 10% of sales all day benefit the parade, plus trivia at 6 PM!
* November 29: Parade Day!

PIZZA FOR THE PARADE set for Tuesday, November 10th!

Grab lunch, dinner, or takeout and support the Dover Holiday Parade! 10% of all dine-in and takeout sales all day will be donated to the parade. Then stick around for Trivia Night at 6 p.m.

Did you know that in December 1774, New Hampshire patriots marched to Fort William and Mary in New Castle to seize gunpowder and cannons in one of the earliest acts of resistance leading up to the American Revolution? And they marched to the beat of a drum!

We're excited to welcome back NH Fife and Drum to this year's Dover Holiday Parade, bringing the sounds and traditions of early American history to the streets of downtown Dover.

From setup in the wee hours of the morning to breakdown and everything in between. We’re lucky to have such a dedicated group helping us bring this community tradition to life.
