The Rattler 7/8 HunsyTails Banger has been a catching machine the last few weeks now! This beautiful Tiger musky would not be denied in the Figure-8! Don't let that overshadow the 1st musky for Shana right after that! My favorite time of the year for fired up muskies is here! I am fully booked for August. Received a nice little care package from Red October Baits today. Red October tubes have been a staple in my boat for years now. A couple of weeks ago, Chuck and I had an epic morning hopping ninja tubes over the weeds. If you are in the Eagle River area, stop in at Guides Choice Pro Shop to pick up some custom painted tubes! Guides Choice is under new ownership, and have been filling the store with awesome new baits that are 🔥 right now! Fish were caught using Thorne Bros. stealth rods in the 8'6" and 9' heavy action. These rods equipped with a tranx 400hg or 500hg are the perfect length for really working small to mid rubber fast over the weeds. FINS Braids 100lb XS has been great on the rods this season! I also cannot stress enough about how nice it is to have some form of net holder boatside to keep the net secure when working on fish. These fish never calmed down, and no matter how hard they thrashed in the net, the Net Buddy held the net secure. Im also loving my new deck box this season by Reck-n-Rack Whether its me or anyone else fishing in the back of the boat, there is so much room now! Plus tons of bait storage without the weight of other heavier boxes on the market.

Remember to sharpen your hooks! Especially after contacting structure. Thankfully, I did and was rewarded with a nice musky during Chain Pounders Muskie League last summer.

This was 1 of the more beautiful true muskies of 2024. On a half day outing, Liam got this fish along with his PB pike! Up until that point, I had only heard of pike in that body of water. I had never seen or caught 1. Fish were eating the regular bulldawg from Musky Innovations. I still have scattered openings throughout the season if you want to get out and chase these fish around, shoot me a message!

With light rain falling on a warm July evening, Josh Sullivan and I find ourselves in the middle of a pack of muskies. Watch as the activity increases as we fish our way through a mega window. Fish were contacted and caught on HunsyTails Hammer Custom Baits and Custom double 8s burned in to the boat quite fast. Reck-n-Rack net mate kept the net secure even with the fish going nuts in the net.

After a long road to recovery, I am back to editing videos. By recovery, I mean my external hard drive took a fall and broke. I lost about 60% of all the footage that I have ever captured in both fishing and hunting. I sent it out to a data recovery business, and they salvaged what they could off of it. This was 1 of the 1st muskies for Josh Sullivan and I in league last season. It took a while to get rolling, but once we did, we consistently caught fish the rest of the season in league. Day 3 dropped on Saturday. Through the hustle and bustle of the Wisconsin Musky Expo, I didn't get a chance to share! With high winds on the last day, we had to either run for cover and find new fish, or stick it out and change our tactics to fish the spots. The change of tactics paid off! Using Team Rhino Outdoors exclusive colored crank baits, we were able to capitalize on another pattern. The Ice Walleye Headlock from Supernatural Big Baits fooled the 1st musky of the day. Then shortly after, the "Gus" colored 13" Grandma triggered the 2nd and largest fish of the trip! They wanted the big stuff!

On Day 2 we head to some weedy bays to try a new pattern. We found plenty of fish, but they weren't eating yet. As the morning went on, the fish seemed to leave the areas.
