Last week's hike through the snow. Was supposed to be snowshoeing but snow was so packed, I didn't need them.

Got the dogs out for a quick winter walk in the Teanaway. I should have brought my snow shoes so we could of done more exploring.

Forgot this one from summer. Miller peak. A little over 6300ft. Took a wrong turn coming down and had to back track to the trail I came up.

Navaho Peak today, 7223ft up. 4200ft elevation gain and a 13.7mile round trip. Very tough, but the views were worth it

Walking the ridge to Iron Peak.

Iron Peak trail. Made it up 2,678ft elevation gain in about an hour and half. Beautiful views from 6,460ft up. Although a thunderstorm hit right as I has heading back off the peak. Kind of fun listening to thunder echo through the valleys.

Got out on a quick hike. Johnson medra to jungle creek. Beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. Got to the aftermath of the jolly mountain fire too.

Hiked into Packwood Lake. Stayed over night and came back. Beautiful trip, and not too cold over night. Definately need to upgrade a few items though. Like new backpack, all wool blanket and 100% wool long Johns.

Escaped into the Teanaway this morning. Still lots of snow up high but beautiful none the less.

First hike of the year. Up on the ridge line above umptanum creek. Perfect timing too, got stormy only an hour later.

Mineral Creek Hike- BUST!
Unfortunately this one was not a very good one. The drive there was beautiful but the hike not so much. Trail washed out and not marked so you cannot find it properly. It is also more of a walk in the woods rather than a hike. It has the chance to be beautiful but a lot of work is needed. Oh well, there is always next week.

Davis Peak fail. Still a great hike though. I set out not intending to hike Davis Peak but on a whim gave it a try. Good reminder to plan and pack for your hike. Still an amazing hike though!
