Don’t miss this great opportunity to float the river with Cordova Fire Rescue!

We are planning this event, we want to push it out there and see if this is something the public may be interested in. We will post the date soon, it will be a Saturday in August, at this time we are just seeing if there is any interest before we finish the planning. Theres not much to do in Richmond County and we are looking to change that. Also don't forget our big trick or treat event on Halloween night

Andrew Key from MRK Creative Designs killed it with some custom fabrication on my boat! He added 1/4 tread plate on the dog house, a bottom door for the windshield, and bow storage doors! All that is left is to add some latches on the storage doors and some powder coating.

I have added a new boat to GIC!😂This Aqua Cat was purchased by a group of us for sharkcation every June during the spawn! It is a one bad unit!

I had quite an adventure with two accomplished anglers last night and this morning. The water conditions were fast and trashed on the River and we faced a lot of challenges. With Michael Jinx Jasensky in town from Connecticut visiting his buddy Dale Wyman, I was going to fight through the obstacles we faced, with these guys, and find a good fish. Our first spot on the river, we hooked on a strong fish. The current was raging and all it took was the pull from an an angler and a big fisb to get us off anchor, causing us to lose the fish! We made a big move down river and finally found Jinx’s first blue catfish and a PB! I asked the guys if we could wrap it up due to detiorating river condtions and they agreed.
I knew they were fishing somehere this morning so I offered to take the back out but to Lake Tilllery on me. Lake Tillery was also trashed so we meandered our way above the bridge and caught a few to get the day going. I decided with good flow in the lake that we should try bumping and suspending some baits and man did they pay off with some serious action. I lost count but the guys said we had over 35 on the day which is the most I’ve ever boated no matter what the size! Definitely a day for the books.
Now off to sharkation!!🦈
