“Emma's house was a great spot for us to hang out in Ely for 3 days. 4 bedrooms were fantastic with soft fresh linen and the bathrooms were spotless. Having the washer and dryer was handy to do a quick load of laundry. The kitchen had everything we needed and the porch was a nice area to unwind at the end of the day.

Worth the money and a great spot to stay in Ely.”

Who are we??

My name is Emma (left) and on the right is my dad, Mark. We are the faces behind Ely Camp Haus & have worked very hard to bring it to life.

I grew up in Ely & was raised taking canoe trips into the BWCA every summer with my family. My dad taught me how to enjoy nature, paddle a canoe, filet a fish, and carry my pack for miles & miles.

Our mission is to share the magic of Ely with others & also make it easy for families to create memories like the ones I have! Ely Camp Haus is a rental home located right in downtown Ely, and it’s a great place to spend the entire week OR to stay on your way in/out of the Boundary Waters. Traveling with families & kids is hard (especially tent camping & portaging canoes), but we want to help make that experience more accessible to MORE families. If you’re making the trek to the BWCA, you MUST spend a few days in town, get to know the locals, stop by the cute shops, get coffee, and avoid the mosquitos. I hope will be your next vacation stay.
