Disney has just announced the new show coming to the Hyperion theater at Disney’s California Adventure!

This new show will be called ‘Rogers’ and it is a one-act musical all about Captain America!

Day 2 in the parks was so much fun and also pretty laid back which was great!

✨The day started with a character breakfast at Plaza Inn. This was honestly the best character experience I’ve ever had at a character meal! The characters just kept on coming. Emery was obsessed!

✨We ran into a few more characters along our day which was such a blast!

✨We were able to ride many attractions this day. We almost rode Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway again but it broke down while we were in line. At least we got to see the cute queue again!

✨We got to watch the incredible ‘World of Color -One’. It was an fantastic show with a ton of new character and movie scenes. What a fun way to finish out the night.

✨Our night actually ended with a corn dog. One of my favorite ways to finish out a full day in the parks.

Our trip was short but so sweet! It was awesome getting to experience the Disney100 celebration first hand!

We went to Disneyland last week and it took this long to post about it cause adjusting back to real life is hard sometimes haha

Day 1 was a blast! We got to do so many things!

✨Emery walked down Main Street for the first time and it was the cutest thing ever!

✨We met Woody and Emery loved it!

✨Currently Emery’s favorite attraction is the carrousel and so was so excited when she could finally do it!

✨We got to see the new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! If you have been on this ride in Walt Disney World, it’s basically the same ride. However, the queue for this attraction is totally different here in California and it is so cute! It’s like a little museum of all things Mickey and his pals. What a fun way to pass the time while waiting in line!

✨We ate all the good food on day 1 like going to the Blue Bayou and Jolly Holliday, but my favorite thing I ate this day was the Dole Whip and Sweet Lumpia! The Sweet Lumpia is filled with cream cheese and pineapple chunks, then it’s fried and covered in cinnamon sugar. It’s to die for and even better dipped in Dole Whip. What a treat!!

✨We saw the new firework show called ‘Wondrous Journeys’. When I say it was incredible I mean it. I was in literal tears at how good this show was. We also hadn’t seen a firework show since pre-Covid mostly due to wind every time we were there, so seeing this firework show was just perfect!

✨Robby and I ended the night with a POG slush (passion fruit, orange, guava) and walking around Galaxy’s Edge with our sleeping girl in the stroller.

What a perfect first day it was! More to come ☺️

🎉Today was the start of Disney100 celebration at the Disneyland Resort! 🎉

I know I’m a couple days late, but Splash Mountain officially closed on Sunday. 🥺

They are now starting their work on changing over the attraction to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

Of course I’m very sad to see Splash Mountain go but I am excited for the new theming!

We are going to Disneyland in just over a week so it will be fun to ride Splash Mountain there again since the attraction is still open in California!

How do you feel about Splash Mountain closing for good and the new theme of The Princess and The Frog??

A big reveal took place this morning as Imagineers installed the marquee for TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park!

I am so excited to see that work is quickly continuing ahead for the opening day of the attraction on April 4th! 🤩

I can’t wait to ride this attraction someday! It looks awesome!

- Beginning 2/4/23, Park Hopping now starts at 11am instead of 1pm
- Beginning 2/4/23, all attraction photos will be available for complimentary download for all ticketed park guests throughout the Disney100 celebration

🏰 Walt Disney World Resort 🏰
- Effective today, 2/10/23, Complimentary self parking is included when stay at a Disney Resort hotel
- Coming soon, Attraction photo downloads will be included with the purchase of Genie+. (Date to start has not been announced)
- TRON Lightcycle/Run will open on April 4th, 2023
