Hi there and welcome to my shop! A little about me..

My name is April and together with my amazing husband we are the owners & creators of Hen House Creation Co! I am a PNW native, living in the beautiful Eugene Oregon! I am married to my best friend, Travis and together we have 4 kiddos, identical twin daughters, Ellie and McKenzie, and two boys (not twins) Brody and Riley. We love adventure and being outdoors, but also love the comfort of our swee

When we're not making signs, tea towels or pillows, you can find us fishing, rafting, gardening, working on DIY projects, antiquing, thrifting, backyard farming, or just enjoying time with each other! Hen House Creation Co started out as a simple side hobby that went along with our antique shop, Hen House Collectables. We started out making these special items for our shop customers, family and friends. It has now evolved into a small family owned business endeavor that we are so proud of! Raising our 4 young kiddos is my full time job, but this little business venture has allowed me to pursue my dreams and passion! The GREATEST gift of my life are these four. They gave me the most precious title of Mom, and it’s a title I do not take for granted. Ever. Celebrating 13 years of Mother’s Day’s. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

On Tuesday we celebrated our 14 year anniversary. We’ve learned a lot within these 14 years... and we’re still learning by the way!😊... but one thing we’ve learned for sure is, it’s the little tings that have the most impact. Extravagant gifts... fade away... but little ones like handmade gifts or experiences... last forever. So this year I surprised hubs with a new art piece for our room. It’s nothing fancy or extravagant... just simple and imperfect just like the two of us!😉 14 years has blown by... we are both looking forward to what the next 14 years and beyond has in store for us! Walking into church today and seeing my sign on the wall... truly brought tears to my eyes. So much joy and gratitude filled me up.❤️ But what truly tugged at my heart strings, was seeing the joy in my kiddos face when they saw their Momma’s creation on the wall. They are one of my biggest fans and the amount of love and support they give me is one of the greatest blessings I have experienced with this little business. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for displaying one of my signs in one of our very places to be on Sunday mornings.✨

This stained custom 4’x2’ sign is on its way to it’s forever home, in Colorado. 🌿 I’m so excited for it’s owner to have it in their beautiful dining space. This sign was stained dark walnut brown with cream lettering. @ Eugene, Oregon
