The biggest surprise?

It's about relationships just as much as travel.

You get to learn about people's dreams, help them celebrate milestones, and be part of some really special memories.

It's rewarding, it's always changing, and there's always something new to learn.

One of the best parts of being a travel advisor is that every day looks a little different.

One client might be planning a honeymoon.

Another is organizing a family reunion.

Someone else is taking their first cruise.

Every itinerary is unique because every traveler is unique.

That variety is one of the reasons I genuinely enjoy what I do.

People often see the finished vacation.

They don't always see everything that happens before that.

Some days I'm comparing 15 different flight options.

Other days I'm researching resorts, checking promotions, mapping out itineraries, or answering questions that help someone feel more confident about their trip.

It's a lot more than booking travel.

It's helping people make informed decisions so they can focus on enjoying the experience.

That's my favorite part.

For some, it's finally checking off a bucket-list destination.

For others, it's reconnecting with family.

Some travel to celebrate milestones.

Others simply need a break from everyday life.

That's one of the reasons I love this business. No two stories are ever the same.

Europe has destinations for almost every budget.

Some countries can be surprisingly affordable, especially when you travel during the shoulder season or focus on less tourist-heavy regions.

It's a delicious Portuguese custard tart with a flaky pastry shell that's become famous around the world.

Sometimes trying the local food becomes one of the best memories of a trip.
