It is a bittersweet day today...We just sold our house, Aurora Moose Cottage, in Fairbanks. We wish the new homeowners, who are first-time buyers, nothing but happiness and much love to be experienced there.
To all of our guests who have stayed with us, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It was great sharing our place with you. Your comments in our guestbook warmed our hearts. It was our sincere pleasure helping so many of you be able to experience God's glory in the Northern Lights. It is a moving and ethereal experience to witness the aurora and you feel as if you are in the very presence of God when you witness it. I have cried several times at the sight.
Our faith has grown exponentially with the purchase and ownership of this house. There are so many things to consider while owning a home so far away, especially in such harsh weather conditions. As many of you know, we live in California, so managing from afar was a challenge, but also a wonderful experience. God put very special people in our path up there and we experienced God's mercies at every turn. We met great people there and are thankful for life-long friendships that we made.
