If you're looking for a really unique Airbnb and you're a Harry Potter fan, Brinkhaven, Ohio has just the place for you. It's called The School of Sorcery, and every single nook and cranny is Harry Potter coded.
From the entrance way, to the sorting hat, to the bar that had every ingredient to make your own Butterbeer, to the dining hall, themed bedrooms (who will stay in Slytherin?!) - seriously, pictures don't even do it justice. They had so many board games, a pool table, and ample seating for you to spend a weekend with your friends or family in this place.
Here's the link for the property. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed.
The town itself didn't have much - so prepare to bring your own meals to cook unless you want pizza the entire time youre there 😉 (And we did order pizza from the local place: Spin City Pizza.)

We are local to Fairlawn and didn’t know this place existed- so when I stumbled across it on TikTok last night, I knew we had to check it out.
Altitude Social House is a women owned wellness center that has a cafe, yoga studio, kids club (you reserve a spot online and can use it for if you work out there, get a facial, or even just want to hang at the cafe kids free for a little bit!), co working den, massage room, and more.

We tried the avocado toast, açaí bowl, and teddy graham latte. It was all great. Their cafe menu also had bagels, protein balls, and lots of smoothies.
Another adorable product they offer: make your own bouquets. (See attached pic- how freaking cute?!!)

Barkheimer Barns exceeded our expectations! We’ve been to so many animal encounter places in Ohio, and this was by far our favorite. So worth it!
They offer private farm tours where you’ll see porcupines, prairie dogs, giraffes, sheep, goats, tortoises, zebra, horses, wallaby’s, kangaroos, armadillos, sloths, pigs, hedgehogs, and so much more.
They also have a capybara experience (we did not do)
And a private bottle feeding experience (that we also did on top of the private farm tour) where you feed a capuchin monkey, sloth, and kangaroo.

The animals were clean, well loved and taken care of, and the owners of the farm were knowledgeable, patient, and kind.
We could’ve hung out at the farm all day.
They are going to be adding even more experiences and animals, and we can’t wait to go back.

Twisted Citrus in Canton Ohio is currently set up for a Swiftie’s dream! They have all of the eras decorated throughout the restaurant.
If you love Taylor Swift, make sure to check this out while it’s here. (Sorry, I don’t know how long it’ll be this theme.)
They offer breakfast and lunch/dinner items. I did not get photos of our food because- children. Lol

Have you tried the viral fruit pastries?? If so, where at?
We recently checked out KarakChai Cafe in Middleburg Heights. We had trouble deciding which ones to try, because they were all so pretty. They had a ton of fruits to choose from, as well as the viral cake bears.
They also had breakfast sandwiches, hot dog rolls, croissants, and other food items- as well as teas and coffees.

We went right when they opened, and they told us the pastries would take about an hour to thaw out, so sadly we don’t have pictures of the insides of all of them. They were really pretty, though!

You know we love COFFEE! Cleveland has some great spots for coffee, and Metropolitan Coffee in old Brooklyn did not disappoint.

There’s parking right by the building. They have booth seating, high tops, couches, and chairs as well as outdoor seating.

They have a ton of housemade syrups and daily quiche flavors, as well as other food items that were all delicious. (See attached photo for menu!) they also sell beans, cups, and merch.

🇮🇹 famous Hungarian-American hot dog spot in Toledo Ohio

The “M.O.A.D.” Is the first pic - a giant Hungarian hot dog with chili, mustard, and a ton of pickles. You can add cheese if you want!

The restaurant is a classic mom and pop style place, with old school decor, checkered tablecloths, and feel like you’re back in the 80s or 90s (in the best way). Service was great & there’s parking across the street if the parking behind the restaurant is full.

They have hot dogs, paprikash, perogies, chili, and strudels. (Along with fried pickles, and some other side dishes like Mac and cheese, fries, chicken dumplings soup and cucumber salad. It’s not a huge menu.)

A really pretty and cozy coffee shop near Belden village, with quiche, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch items daily. They have seasonal drinks of lattes and matchas and pastries as well. It’s a spacious shop, with indoor and outdoor seating, and several rooms & a bar. We checked it out for breakfast & we’d definitely go back!

☕️Cafe Blanc is CHIC, Cozy, and trendy 🙌🏼 in the best way.
Who doesn’t want a soft hazy light coming through giant windows, with beige colored decor, Instagram worthy food and beverages, linen seating options, and even the option for gigantic swings to sit on while you dine in?
It’s two stories of masterfully curated decor and is cozy and welcoming. There’s spiral staircase to go upstairs, where there’s also plenty of seating. On the main floor are two big tables with large swings to sit on, and some bench and chair combo seating options as well. You can see into the kitchen, where you’ll probably see giant croissants being baked - and if you go to the restroom, there’s even adorable floral print wallpaper in there. Make sure to get a selfie with the beautiful floral wall and Cafe Blanc sign, too!
10/10 for the ambiance and decor for sure!

They have delicious syrups for coffees, and some unique energy drink options as well. Here’s some pics of showcase the space and the menu.
Definitely go check it out when you’re in Parma!

This is a great new store for fairlawn to have!
