My friend Annee Reynolds has the greenest thumb I know. She also has a beautiful greenhouse in her backyard where she hosts special gatherings of friends and those that want to spend time together while getting their hands in the soil. 🌱 🪴

She taught my kids about succulents, how to plant them, love them and care for then. Then she sent them home with armfuls of fresh cut herbs from her fairy garden. They loved it!!

Looking for vegan grubs downtown (even though your whole family looks for meat as the main? 🤣) Try my fav - The Red Fern….all members, eating meaty or not, will love it. They have a vegan version or the trash plate - it is Amaze-balls. Kids had vegan macncheese nachos and chocolate mint oreo cake. The man had the vegan trash plate and vegan cheese cake…. I might have eaten most of that cheese cake 😂…and some of the trash plate. So is marriage.

Grimes Glen is one of our all time favs and about 1 hour away from the house.

Inside deets: Water shoes or crocs are recommended for walking in the water! You are not overly exposed to the sun so it’s great on a hot day. There is a water fall at the end, some folks like to have a swim! Little ones that cannot swim need to have swimmies or have an adult nearby! Happy Hiking and creatire spotting!

For our international peeps wishing to see Niagara Falls - it is litterally a hop-skip-and-a-jump from the house (1h30m by car). There are many activities, Maid of the Mist, Niagara Falls State Park, Aquarium ect….! We spent the night and really enjoyed the family time.

His name is Marcel and he’s from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her name is Lindsey and she’s from Rochester NY.

She wanted a house in NY, he wanted a house in The Netherlands. They settled on Saudi Arabia for most of the year and a summer home in Fairport! We love our home away from home ❤️

Weather got your kiddos down? Looking for indoor entertainment? No problem! The Strong Museum of Play is literally a hop skip and a jump from Fairport (15 minutes by car). We brought the grandparents who were also nostalgic about the toys from their past!
