The Buckham Memorial Library, a historic landmark in Faribault, was constructed between 1929 and 1930. The library was a gift to the city from Anne Buckham in tribute to her late husband, Thomas Scott Buckham, a prominent community figure who served as both mayor and the first superintendent of schools.

Today, the library serves as a beautiful tribute to Faribault's history while providing free access to an extensive collection of books, albums, and other educational materials. It also offers a variety of public programs, including storytelling and reading events for all ages.
