So I know I said literally 10 days ago that I was done with personal travel until May 2027 but...surprise! I literally just booked a trip to Disneyland for December 24th-27th! Spending *actual* Christmas at The Happiest Place on Earth šŸŽ„šŸŽ…ā›„šŸŽā„ļø

Carnival offers ā€œYour Time Diningā€, where you eat at the same time and the same table with the same wait staff every nightā€, or ā€œYour Time Diningā€ in the Michaelangelo Dining Room where you check in on the app when youā€™re ready to eat and are assigned the next available app. We love Your Time Dining, it works very well for us! Also in EnseƱada with us today is the Disney Magic ā¤ļø She began her fall season out of San Diego on Monday and will remain homeported there through early November; sheā€™ll return for one day on her way to Alaska next spring and then spend some more time here for Fall 2027 itineraries from late September through early November.

We are docked in EnseƱada today, but since I was here last year, are staying onboard today to enjoy a thrilling day of trivia šŸ¤£ We started off with coffee at JavaBlue, where they are also selling donuts, but our ultimate breakfast destination was Pizzeria del Capitano for ā€œBagels at Seaā€ (included in cruise fare). Carnival began introducing this option last year across the fleet. We had The Rainbow (so sweet and tasty!), The Breakfast Club (this was accidental, they misheard me - savory and very messy), and The Powerhouse Protein (savory, relatively healthy, also kind of messy).

Now weā€™re down in The Tuscan Lounge waiting for General Knowledge Trivia!

Tonight is Elegant Night, and we attended the Captainā€™s Venetian Toast as part of the festivities. Cruise Director Amber introduced us to Captain Enzo and all of the senior officers on board, and there was a performance by the string trio, the horn trio, and the Playlist Performers.
