🌿 Soulful Sunday Compass
The God Who Sees the Lowly
Scripture: Psalm 113:7–8
"He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes, with the princes of His people."
There are moments in life when we feel unseen.
The prayers whispered through tears.
The sacrifices no one notices.
The quiet acts of faithfulness that never receive applause.
Yet Psalm 113 reminds us of a beautiful truth: God sees what others overlook.
Our Heavenly Father is not impressed by status, titles, or achievements. His heart is drawn to those who feel weary, forgotten, discouraged, and burdened. He specializes in lifting what has been cast down and restoring what seems broken.
Perhaps today you feel like you're standing in an ordinary place, wondering if God has forgotten you.
Friend, He has not.
The same God who hung the stars in the heavens bends low enough to see your heart. He knows your struggles, your hopes, your disappointments, and every prayer you've prayed in faith.
And when the time is right, He is able to lift, restore, and position you exactly where He desires you to be.
You are not invisible to God.
You are not forgotten by God.
You are deeply loved by God.
✨ Call to Action
This week, look for one opportunity to encourage someone who may feel overlooked. A kind word, a thoughtful text, a prayer, or a simple act of kindness may remind them that God sees them and so do you.
May we reflect the heart of a God who notices every soul.
