No matter how much we walk San Francisco, I’m always so stoked that we keep finding hidden gems I barely ever hear about online 🥹🥹

This city is truly the best for so many reasons.

Y’all already know by now I’m one of San Francisco’s biggest staircase advocates 🙈 I will never stop talking about how these are one of the city’s best-kept secrets (especially the ones with art and tile work😭😭)

Detroit Street Steps and Avalon Steps aren’t talked about nearly enough. Kenny Lane is more well-known, but I still think it’s absolutely worth seeing.

Let me know which staircases we should explore next 🤍 We are trying to hit as many as we can in 2026 🤭

Oh and in case you missed it 👇

We are hosting a staircase scavenger hunt in San Francisco on Saturday, February 21st at 10 am! It’s our first time hosting something like this 🥹🥹 let’s just say I’m jealous I can’t participate hahaha

Did we mention you can watch the SUN RISE over the ocean here 🥺🥺

Honestly, we’d never heard of Lovers Point until we planned a weekend in Monterey with friends and stumbled upon this hidden gem!

Now, it’s easily one of my favourite spots in California (maybe even in the favourite 💕🫶🏼😏)

Bonus 👇

You can take from San Francisco and spend the weekend exploring without ever needing a car!

Save this reel if you are planning a California vacation!

To be honest ⬇️

Newburyport wasn’t even on our radar 🤭
While visiting Boston, I kept saying I wanted to take the train somewhere different… so we started asking everyone: restaurant servers, coffee shop baristas, random people we met along the way.

(Also asking locals is the ultimate travel hack 🙃)

Every single one said the same thing: go to Newburyport.

I won’t lie when we arrived, my jaw actually dropped.

As someone who’s always on the hunt for charming towns, I couldn’t believe I’d never stumbled upon this one. It’s so cute, right on the water, and somehow still feels like a hidden gem.

If you’re planning your summer now, this is a perfect weekend destination or an easy, dreamy day trip from Boston.

Once a major shipbuilding and trading port, today it’s walkable, scenic, and best explored on foot. No car required… just comfy shoes and a little extra time to wander 🤍

Part of me misses the days when I’d microwave my coffee without a second thought (😅😅 coffee is actually an expensive hobby to have)

BUT… the another part of me is endlessly fascinated by the science and art behind a truly great cup.

Here are the spots (and locations 🫶🏼🤭)

▪️Subtext Coffee Roasters (.coffee )📍Toronto
▪️Big Spin Music ( ) 📍Caen
▪️ 📍Biddeford
▪️Salt Lake Roasting Co. ( ) 📍SLC
▪️ 📍Pacifica

I love finding coffee shops that make you want to stay ALL DAY!! One thing that stood out when we traveled through Europe was how often we actually stayed for our coffee.

In the US and Canada, we usually grab-and-go! Lately, we’ve been more intentional about ordering our coffee and staying 💕

Those few minutes have become a reset. Time to reconnect, talk about what we’re focusing on that day, or just chat about life!

Some of our best conversations have happened sitting in coffee shops, fully present and off our phones.

So save this reel 📌for your next adventure and this is your sign to grab your next coffee to stay!

I still can’t believe we’re doing this! 😍

On February 21, we’re hosting a Scavenger Hunt in San Francisco 🥹🥹 you can join solo or bring a team.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS 👇

Solve 5 riddles to find 5 hidden staircases… and see if you can finish first! 🕵️‍♀️✨

Since this is our very first adventure like this, we’re beyond excited to make it just the beginning and build more events in the future!

If staircases aren’t your thing 👇

We’ll also be hosting two community walks that same weekend. Keep an eye out for times and starting points (coming very soon!) 💛

Got questions about the Staircase Adventure? Drop them below! Trust us… it’s going to be SOOOO MUCH FUN!!! 🎉

Ps.

You do need to claim a spot for this FREE community event so when you comment “riddle” it will automatically be sent to you 🫶🏼

These are the adventures that never made the feed in 2025 🙈🙈

From wandering Chattanooga (10/10 walkability, 12/10 food 🤤) to turtle rehab in the Keys to discovering the King of the Baggers (also my new obsession 🫣).

We watched a play, surprised our friends on a cruise, celebrated Kasey’s dad retiring with a Europe trip, crossed the Atlantic by boat (easily the MOST epic adventure of the year 🥹🥹).

We visited our Canadian besties, quietly decided to build our next business chapter, tested a new coworking spot and laid the foundation for our brand we’re so excited to share about soon!

We surprised our friend for her birthday, sailed the Queen Mary 2 from the UK to NYC, and wrapped it all up with our annual World Juniors trip in Minnesota🏒

2025 you were one for the books 😭♥️

In 2026, we’re leaning into more local adventures and hosting community events while we building out our company but we’re still excited to see what the year brings.

We truly believe that travel doesn’t have to be far to be meaningful 🫶🏼

Nothing better than a place where you can explore on foot and don’t require a car 😏

Send this 🚀to someone trying to walk more in 2026

These cities have compact downtowns, great sidewalks, local coffee shops, and enough character that wandering is the itinerary.

(Listed in no particular order)

1️⃣ St. Augustine 📍Florida
Historic streets, waterfront walks, and one of the oldest downtowns in the country. Easy to explore on foot with plenty of cafés and landmarks packed close together.

2️⃣ Providence 📍Rhode Island
A creative, college-town feel with river walks, bookstores, and food spots all within walking distance.

3️⃣ Mystic 📍ConnecticutSmall coastal town energy. Think charming streets, harborside walks, and slow mornings hopping between shops and cafés.
4️⃣ Newburyport 📍Massachusetts
Classic New England vibes. Walkable waterfront, historic homes, cozy coffee shops, and easy access to nature trails.

5️⃣Fredericksburg 📍 Texas
German-inspired downtown, wine tasting rooms, bakeries, and shops all clustered together. It’s perfect for a car-free weekend.
