.. and you could not ask for a better Green Team than Zero Waste Event Productions — as well as our patrons! — who once again, collectively, did an extraordinary job reducing our environmental impact during FloydFest 25~Aurora (2025). �

📥 Our report card is now in …
💚 24,564 lbs of waste diverted from the landfill, saving 32.29 tons of CO2-equivalent gases from entering the atmosphere
💚 13,028 lbs of recycling, including:
✅ 5,520 lbs of cardboard
✅ 5,840 lbs of mixed materials
✅ 1,668 lbs of cans
💚 10,000 lbs of compost
💚 Reusable pints helped keep +/- 661 lbs of plastic bottles from entering the waste stream
💚 Reusable pints helped keep +/- 875 lbs of drink cups from entering the waste stream

💚 Our 24,564 lbs of waste diverted from the landfill saved 32.29 tons of CO2-equivalent gases from entering the atmosphere, which equates to:
✅ The carbon sequestered by 538 trees grown over 10 years
✅ 3,634 gallons of gasoline
✅ 3,928,821 smartphones charged

🌟 STILL FEELING THE LOVE 🌟

It’s been a couple of weeks since the last note of music faded and the grounds went quiet, and we’re still in awe of what this incredible crew pulled off.

To every single staff member and volunteer who showed up, rolled up your sleeves, stayed late, showed grace under pressure, lent a hand (or ten), and poured your heart into making this festival happen—we see you, we appreciate you, and we absolutely could not have done it without you.

Festivals don’t magically run themselves—they are built and held together by people like YOU. Your hard work, hustle, kindness, problem-solving, laughter, and patience left their mark on every corner of the event.

From the bottom of our still-tired-but-forever-grateful hearts: THANK YOU.
