Heads up to anyone scheduled with Air Canada today and after:

‼️Travel Alert: Air Canada flights to be grounded this weekend‼️

Air Canada will begin gradually suspending flights starting Thursday, with a full shutdown of Air Canada & Air Canada Rouge by Saturday due to a possible flight attendant strike.

‼️What you need to know:
• Cancellations start Aug 14, more on Aug 15, full stop by the weekend
• Air Canada Express (Jazz & PAL Airlines) will keep flying
• Cancelled flights = full refund + possible rebooking with other airlines
• The dispute: union says “poverty wages” & unpaid work, airline says talks at an impasse

‼️If you’re flying with Air Canada this weekend, check your flight status ASAP.
