✨ Meet Me Monday ✨

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve posted! Life has been BUSY lately with family, school, and all the things that come along with being a mom of three. 😂💛

But just because I’ve been quiet on here doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy behind the scenes!

Even in the middle of everything, I’ve still been taking care of my travelers. Recently, I’ve:

🚢 Booked a cruise for a client
🍽️ Made dining reservations for an upcoming trip
💰 Checked a brand-new promotion against trips I had already booked — and was able to save my clients even MORE money!

💰 WORTH IT WEDNESDAY: Is the Kids Club on Royal Caribbean Worth Using? 🚢

When we take a family vacation, we want to spend time as a family...but that doesn't mean our kids want to hang out with us 24/7. 😂

Our kids didn't love the kids club on our last Royal Caribbean trip, so we weren't sure what to expect this time.

But this trip was completely different!

They loved Adventure Ocean and were always excited to go. In fact, they were often sad when we came to pick them up. 😂

They had a place to participate in age-appropriate activities, meet other kids, play games, and have fun while Mom and Dad got a little time to ourselves. 🙌

One thing I really liked is that using the kids club didn't mean we had to plan our whole cruise around it. The kids could go when they wanted to and still spend plenty of time doing things with us.

Is it necessary to have a great family cruise? No.

But is having a place your kids are EXCITED to go while you get a little break worth it?

Absolutely. 😂

⭐ 5/5 — WORTH IT!

And since Adventure Ocean programming is included in your cruise fare during regular hours, this is one of those cruise perks I definitely recommend families at least check out.

Here's one of those little things we discovered on our recent Royal Caribbean cruise that I definitely tucked away for our next one...

Go swimming after dinner!

During the day, the pool deck can obviously be a popular place to be. But after dinner? A lot of people head to shows, activities, or back to their rooms to get ready for the evening.

That meant the pool was SO much quieter for us!

Our kids could swim and enjoy themselves without the crowds, and it ended up being one of those simple parts of the trip that we really enjoyed.

Sometimes the best vacation tips aren't the complicated ones—they're just little things you learn from actually being there. ❤️

💰 WORTH IT WEDNESDAY: Is a Smaller Royal Caribbean Ship Worth It? 🚢

Our recent cruise was aboard Radiance of the Seas, which is MUCH smaller than some of Royal Caribbean's newer ships.

No giant waterpark. No surf simulator. No neighborhood with a carousel. 😂

So...was a smaller ship still worth it for a family with kids?

For us, YES!

❤️ There were still plenty of activities for us to do together.

🎱 The kids enjoyed exploring the ship and learning how to play pool.

📚 Bella found lots of good reading spots around the ship, which made it easy for her to relax with a book whenever she wanted some quiet time.

🧒 The kids had Adventure Ocean when they wanted to do their own thing.

🚢 And because it was a smaller ship, getting from one place to another was EASY. We weren't spending half our vacation trying to get across a massive ship.

💰 Smaller ships are usually much cheaper, too! On this cruise, we were able to get two connecting rooms for the price of one room on a bigger ship, which gave our family more space and made the trip much more comfortable.

Would I choose a smaller ship if the SHIP itself was the main destination and we wanted nonstop attractions? Probably not.

But for a cruise where we're excited about the ports, want a more relaxed ship experience, and can get more space for our budget?

Absolutely.

⭐ 4/5 — Worth it for the right trip!

That's one of the reasons I don't think there's one "best" cruise ship for everyone. The best ship is the one that fits what YOUR family wants out of the vacation.

💡 TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY: Get to Volcano Bay EARLY! 🌋🌊

If Volcano Bay is part of your Universal vacation, my biggest tip is simple: don't sleep in that day! 😂

We didn't get there early, and by the time we arrived, we couldn't find a place to put our stuff. We finally found a place in the back, but spent a good 30 minutes in the heat looking for one!

Getting there early also gives you a better chance of finding chairs, settling in before the crowds, and enjoying some of the more popular attractions before waits build.

If you're staying at a Universal hotel and Early Park Admission to Volcano Bay is offered during your stay, take advantage of it! That extra time can be so helpful.

🎢 Ride Review Friday: The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man 🕷️

This week we're swinging over to Islands of Adventure to review one of Universal's classic attractions... The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man!

Even though it's been around for years, this ride still holds up! The combination of 3D effects, motion simulation, and incredible storytelling makes it one of our family's favorite attractions.

If you're wondering whether it's too scary, if it's worth the wait, or if it might cause motion sickness, today's review has everything you need to know!

📍 Firsthand Thursday: A Meal at Three Broomsticks 🍗🍺

One of our favorite dining experiences during our Universal vacation was eating at Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.

I'll admit...when I saw the line, I was a little hesitant. 😅

But here's something I didn't know beforehand...

Even though you wait in line to get inside, a Team Member will find a table for your family. Once you're seated, you simply use the Universal Orlando app to place your order, enter your table number, and your food is brought right to your table! I thought the process was super easy and much more relaxing than trying to juggle trays and find an open table.

❤️ What I loved:
The theming! From the wooden beams and cozy fireplaces to all the little details throughout the restaurant, it really feels like you've stepped into the Wizarding World. It was one of those places where we wanted to slow down and look around before we even started eating.

🍗 The food:
We enjoyed hearty British-inspired dishes, and the portions were generous. It definitely felt like more than your typical theme park quick-service meal.

💡 My tip:
Don't let the line discourage you! Once you're inside, the process is organized, the food comes right to your table, and it's a great opportunity to take a break from the Florida heat.

For our family, Three Broomsticks wasn't just lunch—it was part of the Harry Potter experience!
