Another fixture of National Avenue are the Lyons Twin Mansions. These two houses might be the finest examples of Queen Anne Architecture in Fort Scott. Completed in 1873, a local banker built one mansion for himself and the other for his daughter's family. The Lyons family has lived on this property for 40 years and the homes are now a bed and breakfast and a restaurant. A great place to stop for lunch during your tour.
