Re-posting this to show all of our new followers what we love most about our condo. The QUICK and EASY beach access! Especially with kids! Just one flight of stairs plus a short walk through the parking lot and you're at the beach walkover. Easy peasy.

Did you know Okaloosa Island has "Borrow Bins" at all the public beach access points? Vacationers can borrow beach toys as well as leave items that would otherwise get trashed. October is our absolute favorite month to visit Okaloosa Island. Let me tell you 3 reasons why:
1. The BEST sunsets happen in October!
2. Less tourists, but the weather is still amazing and the water is still warm enough to swim.
3. There are still plenty of events going on, including Tricks & Treasures Halloween at the The Boardwalk, the Pink October 5K, and the DESTIN FISHING RODEO all month!

Everything a beginner needs to know about the Destin Fishing Rodeo, including top target species, prizes, and when and where to go.
