Disney did something very interesting today… they extended their Bounceback Offer booking window into 2027.

If you’re not familiar, the Bounceback Offer is a special discount available to guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. After you check out, you have 7 days to book a future Disney vacation and lock in savings of up to 35% off your next resort stay.

Now, for most people, the discount itself isn’t the interesting part.

The interesting part is what the blackout dates tell us about where Disney expects demand.

🧐 Disney is basically showing us when they think people will already be coming.

A few things jumped out at me:

➡️ January remains one of the best values of the year outside of Marathon Weekend and MLK Weekend.

➡️ February is no longer the “secret” month it used to be. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights are largely blocked out throughout the month. Between Presidents Day, Mardi Gras breaks, ski weeks, Festival of the Arts, and absolutely gorgeous Florida weather, February has become a much busier travel month than it was even a few years ago.

➡️ March through August is surprisingly open. Aside from a few holiday weekends and runDisney events, most of spring break, summer vacation, and early fall remain eligible. That’s a pretty strong signal that Disney isn’t seeing the same spring break demand it once did.

➡️ October continues to prove my theory: Fall Break is the new Spring Break.

Disney has very limited Bounceback availability in October, which tells me demand is incredibly strong. Between Halloween parties, Food & Wine Festival, cooler temperatures, and more school districts offering fall breaks, October has quietly become one of the busiest times of the year at Walt Disney World.

As a Disney planning nerd, I love looking at promotions because they often tell us more about travel patterns than crowd calendars do.

What do you think? Have you noticed Disney feeling busier in February and October than it used to?

And if you’re currently planning a Disney vacation, let’s chat! Whether it’s your first trip or your tenth, I’d love to help you make the most of it. Link in comments.

🎃 Oogie Boogie Bash is BACK at Disneyland Resort! 🎃

If you’ve never experienced Halloween at Disneyland, this is your sign to add it to your travel list.

Halloween Time returns to Disneyland Resort from August 21 through October 31, and Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure is once again bringing all the spooky fun, rare characters, treat trails, entertainment, and Halloween magic that Disney does so well.

This year’s party will feature some new surprises, including enhanced Haunted Mansion-themed entertainment, along with fan favorites like Villains Grove, immersive treat trails, special entertainment, lower wait times for attractions, and some of the best character interactions you’ll find all year.

🖤 Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort: August 21 – October 31
🖤 Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure: August 21 – November 2
🖤 Oogie Boogie Bash tickets go on sale June 18

Disneyland truly knows how to throw a party, and Oogie Boogie Bash is one of the most popular special events they offer all year.

Whether you’re planning a long weekend focused on Disneyland or want to combine it with exploring Southern California, I’d love to help you put together the perfect trip. The best part? We have convenient nonstop flights from Indianapolis to both Burbank and Los Angeles, making Disneyland much easier to visit than many families realize.

I’ve visited Disneyland myself and love helping families discover everything that makes the Disneyland Resort experience so special.

Disney Cruise Line quietly discounted quite a few of its 7-night Alaska itineraries for June, July and August 2026 — with savings up to 30% off.

And I know what you’re thinking…

“But isn’t Alaska expensive to get to?”

Usually? Yes.

But I have booked three families on Alaska cruises in the last week, and we were able to find flights into Seattle or Vancouver for around $400 per person.

The FIFA World Cup created the perfect storm: lots of hotel and flight inventory, but lower-than-expected demand. Once hotels released rooms and airlines realized flights weren’t filling, prices started coming back down — some even lower than what I typically see for Alaska summers.

So if your family has been thinking about sailing to Alaska and you don’t have summer plans yet… this really is the season to do it.

There is still availability.
Balcony rooms are still out there.
Flights are not full.
Pre-cruise hotels are pricing better than I have seen in years.
And Disney Cruise Line pricing to Alaska is the best I’ve personally seen.

This trip is absolutely possible — and this is exactly where I come in.

I help you choose the right sail date, the right room, and the right itinerary for your family. I help with flights, pre-cruise hotel, transfers, port plans, excursions and all the little puzzle pieces that make Alaska feel overwhelming when you try to do it on your own.

I’ve been there.
I’ve planned it.
I’m going back again because I practice what I preach.

If Alaska has been on your family’s bucket list, this is the time to take a serious look.

Schedule a planning chat with me — link is in the comments— and let’s make Alaska happen.

🎄✨ Disney Cruise Deal Alert! ✨🎄

I've been waiting for a deal like this to pop up, and it's finally here.

A 7-Night Very Merrytime Cruise aboard the Disney Treasure is now available at approximately 25% off select sailings! 🚢🎅

This incredible Western Caribbean itinerary sails from Port Canaveral and visits:
🏝️ Cozumel, Mexico
🏝️ Grand Cayman
🏝️ Falmouth, Jamaica
🏝️ Castaway Cay — Disney's private island paradise

And here's the part that surprised me...

A family of 4 can sail for about $5,800 for the entire week! 🤯

One of the reasons I love Disney Cruise Line so much is how much is included in your vacation price:

✨ Rotational dining in beautifully themed restaurants
✨ Broadway-style entertainment
✨ Character meet & greets
✨ Youth clubs and activities
✨ Pools and waterslides
✨ Movies
✨ Crafts and family activities
✨ Soft drinks, coffee, tea, and ice cream
✨ 24-hour room service

My family sailed on a 7-night Very Merrytime Cruise aboard the Disney Treasure last November, and it was one of the most magical vacations we've ever taken.

Some of our favorite memories included:
🎅 Visiting with Santa
☕ Hot cocoa and cookies in the Grand Hall
💃 Holiday dance parties in the atrium
🌺 Dinner shows at Plaza de Coco
🌊 The Tale of Moana in the Walt Disney Theatre
👻 Cocktails in the Haunted Mansion Parlor
🖤 Black Panther Challenge in the Oceaneer Lab
👑 Princess Storytime in the Oceaneer Club

The Treasure is an absolutely gorgeous ship year-round, but she truly sparkles during the holiday season. The decorations, music, entertainment, and festive atmosphere make it feel like Christmas magic at sea.

If you've been thinking about a Disney Cruise and want to take advantage of this savings, I'd love to help. I do the research, answer the questions, sort through the details, and help create a vacation your family will remember for years to come.

🇳🇴❄️ Think Europe is only for summer? Let me introduce you to the magic of Norway in the quieter months…

Towering fjords. Snow-dusted mountains. Waterfalls cascading down dramatic cliffs. Cozy Nordic villages that look straight out of a storybook. ✨

Norway is one of those destinations where the journey is just as incredible as the destination — but it’s also a place where logistics matter.

🚆 Which scenic train do you take?
🚢 How do you experience the fjords?
🧳 How do you get from mountain villages to coastal towns without renting a car and navigating winter roads?

That’s where a guided Globus tour shines. 🙌

For my European travel newbies (or anyone who wants the adventure without the stress), Globus takes care of the puzzle pieces:
✨ Hand-selected hotels
✨ Transportation between destinations
✨ Expert local guides who bring the history & culture to life
✨ Bucket-list experiences already built in
✨ The perfect balance of exploring together + free time to wander

You’re not spending hours researching train schedules, hauling luggage through stations, or wondering if you planned the “right” route — you get to actually ENJOY being there.

And traveling during Globus’ Escape season means fewer crowds, cozy vibes, and incredible value. ❄️

🇳🇴 Norwegian Fjords Escape
📍 7 days exploring Bergen, breathtaking fjords, mountain landscapes & unforgettable scenery
💥 Flash Sale Pricing: starting at $1,679 per person**
📅 Based on the November 21, 2026 departure

If Norway has been sitting on your “someday” list… maybe someday is sooner than you think. 😉

I would love to help you experience Europe in a way that feels exciting — not overwhelming.
