Prayers to the family for this unfortunate and tragic accident.

How Does a Bungee Jumper Get Tossed From a Bridge with NO Cord Connected to Her?

The “accident” was so egregious that police came to investigate and several of the men involved attempted to flee.

Six were arrested in the death of a student named Maria Rodrigues. Maria was tossed 130 feet to her death. This lack of safety happened with a business with a history of safety violations.

But bungee jumping or bungee tossing without a cord off of a bridge is beyond an accident… this was a crime. They have been charged with manslaughter in Brazil.

What should happen to the instructors who tossed her off the bridge?
