Ever wonder where your cash actually goes? This two-part series will help you get a real handle on your business's financial position — so you can plan ahead instead of playing catch-up.

Before we meet, you'll receive a comprehensive spreadsheet to review on your own time. In the first session, Chris will walk through accurate ways to project your sales, cost of sales, operating expenses, and payroll — including a real example of a business owner who planned for growth while keeping a steady cash flow position.

After Session 1, you'll be ready to plug in your own historical numbers and start planning the next 12 months toward positive cash flow for your business, which will be fine-tuned in Session 2. Designed for simplicity, Venture North's Chris Wendel has created a straightforward financial planning tool based on the Lean Canvas. Attendees will walk away with a completed financial overview of their own business!

NOW HIRING!! The Congregational Summer Assembly (CSA) is seeking a part-time, year-round Database Manager.

This role serves as the primary owner of the MemberClicks database. You will ensure data integrity, system readiness for registration, accurate reporting, and staff training.

Type: Part-time, year-round.
Hours: Fluctuate seasonally. (~10 hours/week in summer; ~10 hours/month off-season).
Location: Remote off-season. In-person at the CSA office during the 9-week summer is preferred but not required.
Pay: Commensurate with experience.
Reports To: Managing Director.

Frankfort Fall Festival & Port City Run
Saturday, October 10 | 9 AM – 6 PM | Open Space Park

The day kicks off early with the Port City Run at 9, then it's a full day in the heart of downtown — the parade (Mutt March included!) kicks off at 11, the craft fair brings in 45+ vendors, and Lord of the Gourd will be live carving pumpkins.

Co****le tournament at noon.
Carriage rides.
Face painting.
Free alpaca petting.
Live music from the Scottville Clown Band and Jim Hawley.
B**r, w**e, and spirits.

And at 3 PM — we drop a giant pumpkin off a crane and watch it smash. Guess its weight beforehand and you could win a bike!
