Travel break to Italy April 2025! An amazing trip shared with .xo and and of course First oversees trip without a cruise or travel agent to help plan. It felt great to master logistics out of the country on our own. Easy peasy with planes, trains and cars thanks to Shane’s driving and Andy’s navigating! Florence was a walkable art gallery. Tuscany was a little heaven with white roads, spacious vineyards, olive groves and a sunny farmhouse to welcome us home. Rome was a lot, but we loved getting out of the madness to the arty/bohemian area of Trastevere for our ever-favorite food tour, escaping to the peacefulness of a neighborhood chapel and I’m glad we didn’t miss the grandeur of the Vatican. We capped it off with a surprise sighting of King Charles and Camilla after their visit with the Pope!
