If you have kids around ages 2–8, put Sesame Place Philadelphia on your list! It’s a great introduction to theme parks without the overwhelming size of Disney or Universal. Little ones can enjoy kid friendly rides, Sesame Street characters, shows, parades, water attractions (seasonally), plus plenty of opportunities to meet their favorite furry friends.

I recently visited Antietam National Battlefield and I'm sharing the experience with you in a new video that you can watch at the link below.

Part of the National Park Service the Antietam Battlefield in western Maryland commemorates the monumental Civil War battle that took place here. The park houses a museum and welcome center which includes a movie. They also offer a driving tour of the area with a dozen stops marking key moments in the battle. Monuments to the soldiers fill the grounds and there were many National Park guides around to discuss the battle. You'll end your tour with a stop at the Antietam National Cemetery, a military cemetery. All of this is surrounded by picturesque mountain views.
