Such an epic day of fishing this past Thursday with the bros. Definitely up towards the top of the list as one of the best I've ever had. 🙌

The day started out pretty cold and windy. But I just knew the wind was laying down and the sun was coming up. Once the NW wind died the tide started moving in, it was on. 😎

After some moving around we dialed in where the fish were stacked up. Literally so many fish in one small area that we caught fish consistently for 5 hours. Literally 100+ fish between the three of us. Double hookups, triple hookups, overslots, tourney winning slots including a 9lb fish. And a good amount of rats in the mix. 🤌

Needless to say we all left with a huge grin on our faces! One of those days you live for in the winter time as a kayak fisherman. The freezer was running low so I brought home some of the "smaller" slots. Should be good on fish to eat for the month!

Fishing was outstanding yesterday morning. 🙌

The tide finally came back in Saturday night so the fish were fired up and active.

My client for the day Zac landed 2 keeper reds, an overslot red and about 15 rat reds that were fiesty as heck. 🤌

All landed on artificials. 5 inch Knockin Tail Lures and clucker mullets by Chickenboy Lures was the ticket!

Who wants to get on some fat wintertime redfish?

Have tomorrow and Saturday available for kayak trips. All gear can be provided if needed. Chasing redfish in the marsh around Freeport/Surfside area. 😎

Its easy to find em this time of year! Tomorrow afternoon has low winds and is sunny. Saturday is warming up with slight winds and overcast. 🤌

Whacked a bunch of fat wintertime redfish yesterday. 🤌

Fish were stacked up behind a reef on a drop off gorging finger mullet and shad on an outgoing tide. Once their location was found it was one after another working white/chartreuse paddle tails.

These fish are definitely preparing themselves for the artic blast we are getting next week. Several 13lb fish and even a 14lb just a few inches overslot. Talk about some fun! 🙌
